I explore symbiotic relationships in cities: skylines, grids, cultures, daily lives and conversations. Energy and composition may convey a walk downtown to the subway, a cocktail party, the stacked lives in an apartment building, sailing in the harbor, or the stark reality of an unexpected phone call. A look at how long-standing norms and change coexist.
Currently exhibiting at the Wiregrass Museum in Dothan, AL, I’ve recently exhibited in Nashville at the Montgomery Bell Academy and in Huntsville, AL, at the Monte Sano Arts Festival. Other exhibits include the Alabama Council on the Arts, University of North Alabama, and the Arts Huntsville, Gallery. My paintings are in private collections throughout the United States and Montreal, Quebec, Canada, and are exhibited here, at Lowe Mill Arts & Entertainment , 2nd floor Huntsville Art League Gallery, or by appointment.
