Brook is an artist, illustrator and muralist with a flare for color and whimsy. Coming from a family full of artists, Brook pursued her artistic dreams from a very young age. In 2000, she graduated from the prestigious Rhode Island School of Design with a BFA in Illustration. There she was able to expand her artistic endeavors and worked not only in painting but silversmithing, glass, sculpture, animation and puppeteering. Her work draws on inspiration from children’s books, color, travel, food, nostalgia and everyday life. For the past decade she has created artwork and murals for Trader Joe’s and her playful and often humorous work is showcased throughout the Southeast. Brook currently resides and paints constantly with her 2 cats in Ponte Vedra, Florida.
