Originally from Jackson, Mississippi Bryan Easter has been playing saxophone for as long as he can remember. He is a soulful saxophonist fluent in contemporary and straight-ahead jazz. He has talent that has always come naturally to him. He began his jazz career as a student at Jackson State University where he studied under Dr. Russell Thomas Jr. During his time at JSU, Bryan had the privilege of performing with jazz greats Lionel Hampton & Dizzy Gillespie. After his time at JSU, he made the choice to serve his country as a US Army Bandsman, where he served for 26 years. During those years he performed with and led numerous music groups, and continued to improve his craft. He has performed in over 15 different countries and for every U.S. President from 1990-2016.
