David Nuttall is a talented cartographer that has been creating unique, hand-drawn fictitious maps since he was five years old. While his innate creativity and innovative spirit have remained unchanged since his childhood, his maps have undergone significant improvements in terms of detail, quality, and plausibility over the years. Fortunately, David still possesses some of his earliest maps, dating back to when he was around eight years old.
These captivating fictional maps draw inspiration from real locations, and their plausibility is a result of extensive research and David’s years of experience as a cartographer. He records his maps on various mediums, such as paper, wood, board, canvas, and more recently, he has even ventured into temporary skin art.
David offers custom maps and full commissions that are truly one-of-a-kind. He engages in consultations with his clients to ensure that the maps incorporate significant aspects, places, and events from their lives. He can represent all family members, pets, and locations where they have lived. Furthermore, David is also a commissioned artist for the Huntsville Public Art Program.
