Huntsville Concert Band

The Huntsville Concert Band is a community band that performs year-round for residents of the City of Huntsville and the Tennessee Valley. Founded in 1963 and currently directed by Marsha Asquith, the Band regularly appears at Huntsville’s annual Veterans Day and Memorial Day ceremonies, at neighborhood gatherings and senior residences, and at Panoply and Concerts in the Park. The Huntsville Concert Band is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and a member of the Association of Concert Bands and The Arts Council.

The Music Director and all members are volunteers, and membership is open to anyone in the community who plays a band instrument and can participate in rehearsals and performances; no auditions are required. If you would like to join the Band or schedule a performance, please contact us.
